In the same year the proceedings of a workshop on cellular automata in Ouro Preto (Brazil) organized with Antonio Pires and David Landau were printed by World Scientific.
Being at HLRZ in Julich I published between 1991 and 1994 the proceedings of a series of four workshops on Fermion algorithms , first order phase transitions , parallel computing and brain research all published by World Scientific.
A school that I organized in Cargese in 1997 gave a much cited volume on dry granular media and a workshop organized in 1999 with Dirk Helbing, Michael Schreckenberg and Dietrich Wolf a proceedings on traffic and granular flow .
To honour Antonio Coniglio's 60th birthday I organized in April 2000 a meeting in ESPCI the proceedings of which called Scaling and Disordered Systems were published by World Scientific. Recently also with Antonio Coniglio and his Italian colleagues we also edited the proceedings of a meeting in Capri on granular media and glasses.
In the framework of a DFG Forschergruppe with Pieter Vermeer, Ekkehard Ramm and Wolfgang Ehlers on cohesive frictional materials we organized several conferences giving rise to a volume on continuous and discontinuous modelling published by Springer in 2001 and another published 2004 by Balklema.
With Ramon Garcia-Rojo and Sean Mc Namara we edited the two volumes of the proceedings of Powders and Grains 2005 which is presently the most complete and up to date book written about granular media.
